Data Retention Policy
Roof Quote Analyzer is designed around short-lived customer job storage.

| Google and Reddit public-site measurement | Google may retain limited cookieless analytics and advertising-measurement events while optional-cookie consent is denied. If optional-cookie consent is granted, Google may use measurement cookies or similar identifiers and the Reddit advertising pixel may run and retain advertising-measurement data under the providers' applicable settings and policies. The site defaults Google consent to denied before Tag Manager starts, keeps Reddit blocked until consent is granted, and does not load this tagging on Roof Quote Analyzer pages. How the 72-hour period works
The application periodically removes expired job directories from its persistent active storage. The 72-hour period is a maximum operational target, not a promise that files will remain available for the full period. Paid customers receive an email containing the same report links shown on the unlocked results page, including the complete ZIP link. Download any report you wish to keep promptly because emailed links also expire and redeployments, failures, or maintenance can remove access sooner.
Early deletion requests
You may request early deletion by emailing support@understanddecide.com. Include the job identifier and enough information to locate the job. We may be unable to locate a job after automatic deletion.
Provider retention and legal exceptions
Hosting, analysis, payment, and security providers may maintain backups, abuse-prevention records, transaction records, security logs, or legally required records outside the active application storage controlled by Understand / Decide. Information may also be retained longer when reasonably necessary to investigate abuse, protect users, resolve disputes, reconcile payments, or comply with law.
Future changes
Retention periods may change as the product architecture changes. Any material change will be reflected on this page and, when relevant, in the upload or payment flow.
